English Proficiency test which is also known as English Language Testing System, which is taken by students applying to English-speaking countries from non-native English-speaking countries. The exam is conducted jointly by IELTS Australia, British Council, and the Cambridge English Language Assessment testing agency. The test is of two types academics and generally based on the requirement of the applicant for education purposes students should take the academic test and for work purposes, a general IELTS test needs to be taken. It is recognized almost by a plethora of universities, institutions, government bodies, and companies. The test consists of four modules listening, reading, writing, and speaking, whereas listening, reading, and speaking tests are conducted on one day and students have the option to choose pen &paper based or a computer-based and speaking is conducted on a separate day face to face with IELTS test takers. The scores are given within a week for IELTS Computer-based whereas for pen & paper-based exams it might take 15 to 20 days to get the result. The registration fee for the exam is INR 15,500 and exam dates and schedules will be sent through SMS and Emails. Students need to have a valid passport card to apply for this test.
